bike servicing birmingham

Gear Up is an independent bike shop and is part of Worth Unlimited, a youth work charity Alongside providing our customers with  professional servicing and repairs and running a community cycle club, we use cycling and mechanics to engage and mentor young people, helping them to reach their full potential.

Every service you book with us goes towards paying for mentoring sessions with vulnerable young people.

Whether it's a simple puncture or a complex bottom bracket repair, we're committed to keeping you moving on the bike you love.  Our mechanics are all Cytech level 2 trained and approved and offer you a priceless combination of expert knowledge and practical skill. Where possible we try to get your bike back to you the same day!

WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS SAY

"The workshops enabled us to integrate our Central and Eastern European clients with others, which hadn’t always been possible in a classroom setting because of language barriers, so this was even more positive by providing a ‘hands on’ experience. All participants felt that taking part and seeing that they could reassemble bicycles improved their confidence and self-worth."

Lee Harris - Sifa-Fireside Co-Ordinator

Had my husbands bike sorted out ready to ride again after a long lay off. Brilliant service and very reasonable price. The guys went over and above what was needed. Great work.

Anne - Customer

Always friendly and welcoming, there's never any job too big or too small at Gear Up. They have fixed my bike many times and the job is always done in very good time to a high standard no matter what state I've managed to get my bike into!
